Out To Buy Cigarettes


She entered the drugstore at the tail end of the song
'OUT OF TIME' by the stones.

Her friend,
Boliva was working the register
her fingernails looked real bad
the glitter chipped &
flaking.

She had been a real kitty
once -
silky stride & all..
